About Apex Kart Chester

Apex Kart is an indoor kart circuit on Babbage Road in Sandycroft, Deeside, just over the Welsh border from Chester. The venue has operated since 1989, originally as The Circuit Raceway, and was refurbished in 2016 after a change of ownership.

Sessions run as timed Time Attack races open to individuals and groups, alongside private Formula 1 and Elite Grand Prix formats for groups of up to 80. Juniors can drive from 8 years old and 125cm tall, and there are family sessions and junior parties.

The site also houses The Armoury, a separate adults-only area with axe throwing, archery and shooting ranges, which some groups combine with karting.

The karts

One thing we're checking: Fuel type taken from a second-source directory (indoor petrol karts); the operator's site does not state it.
