About Heatherton World of Activities

Heatherton World of Activities is a multi-activity park at St Florence, near Tenby in Pembrokeshire, with a 300-metre outdoor kart track among its attractions. Helmets and overalls are provided, and there is a viewing area for spectators.

Senior karts are for drivers aged 14 and over and at least 1.5m tall, while junior karts take children from 6 years old and 1.18m. Both groups use the same track in alternating sessions of about seven minutes.

Karting is paid for with the park's credit passes, which can also be spent on its golf, adventure trail and other activities, so it suits families spending a day on site rather than serious racers.

Top speed of 55mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.
