About Herefordshire Raceway

Herefordshire Raceway is an outdoor kart circuit at Lower Hurst, north-west of Hereford. The 600-metre track has three hairpins and is raced in twin-engine karts, with a published lap record of 32.4 seconds.

Drivers from age 8 (and at least 1.3 m tall) can take part, with power restricted for cadets and juniors. Adults aged 17 and over drive full-power karts in arrive-and-drive sessions, sprints, Grand Prix and team endurance races.

Young drivers are catered for with race parties, a three-day holiday kart school and cadet and junior championships. Bookings are taken by phone or email rather than through an online system.

The karts
