About KART Silverstone

Kart Silverstone is an outdoor kart circuit within the Silverstone motor racing complex on the Northamptonshire–Buckinghamshire border. The track can run in five layouts, the longest at 1,377 metres, and is built to FIA-CIK standards.

Adults aged 14 and over race 390cc Sodi RT10 karts, juniors aged 8 to 15 use 200cc Sodi karts, and children aged 6 and 7 can start with bambino induction and coaching sessions. There is also an academy, a rental championship and endurance racing.

Licensed owner-drivers with ARKS and NCR class karts can book dedicated test days. Spectators can watch from a rooftop area, and there is a pizza restaurant on site.

Top speed of 55mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

The karts

  • Sodi RT10
  • Sodi LR6 G200
One thing we're checking: Adult Sodi RT10 390cc karts (quoted top speed 55mph) and junior Sodi LR6 200cc karts (quoted 40mph). Karts show lap time and race position on a digital screen and have weight adjustment. The operator does not state the fuel type; petrol is assumed and needs confirmation.
