About Karttrak Cromer

Karttrak Cromer is an outdoor kart circuit on Hall Road in Cromer, on the north Norfolk coast. The 550-metre tarmac track was resurfaced in 2022 and runs 160cc cadet karts and 200cc junior and adult karts.

Children can drive from 8 years old if they are at least 134cm tall, with separate kart sizes for cadets, juniors and adults and limits on how many share the track. Group races, endurance events and stag or hen packages are for over-16s.

For regular drivers there are monthly junior, adult and open race leagues, the Cromer Cup and a youth coaching club. The venue also offers a hand-controlled kart for drivers who cannot use foot pedals.

Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

One thing we're checking: The operator lists 160cc and 200cc engines (Bizkarts) but does not state the fuel type explicitly. A custom kart with accelerator and brake on the handlebars is available.

Karting continues in rain with waterproof suits provided, but prolonged heavy rain can close the track and bookings are moved.
