About Need 4 Speed Karting

Need 4 Speed is an indoor karting track on Kilbride Road in Doagh, between Ballyclare and Antrim. Every booking is given sole use of the track, with no more than seven karts out at once.

Children can drive junior karts from age 8 if they are at least 135cm tall, and there is a separate adult fleet. An adult kart with hand controls lets drivers aged 16 and over steer, accelerate and brake without using their feet.

Formats range from short timed sessions to a full Grand Prix with heats and finals, and the venue takes birthday parties, youth groups, stag and hen groups and corporate bookings. Booking is required.

The karts

One thing we're checking: Separate junior and adult fleets plus an adult kart with hand controls. Fuel type is not published by the operator; petrol is unconfirmed and needs checking.
