About TeamSport Go Karting Bournemouth

TeamSport Bournemouth is an indoor electric kart track on Wallisdown Road, on the Bournemouth side of the boundary with Poole. The 450-metre circuit has 10 corners and runs over more than one level.

Juniors aged 8 to 12 drive Biz EcoVolt Junior karts and drivers from 13 use EcoVolt GT karts. The building is a multi-activity site, with racing simulators for 13 and over, Sixes Social Cricket lanes from age 5, pool tables and arcade games.

Karting is pre-booked in arrive-and-drive, Grand Prix and 50-lap formats, and the venue takes children's parties and corporate groups. Parking is free and the lower level is wheelchair accessible.

Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

The karts

  • Biz EcoVolt GT
  • Biz EcoVolt Junior
One thing we're checking: The venue page describes electric karting. The track-details page lists a Honda GX200RH petrol engine against the adult EcoVolt GT kart, which conflicts and needs confirming. Junior karts are limited to 25 mph.
