About TeamSport Go Karting Leicester

TeamSport Leicester is in a unit on New Star Road in Leicester (LE4). Its indoor circuit is about 500 metres long with 12 corners and runs over two levels connected by ramps.

The fleet is all electric: Biz EcoVolt GT karts for drivers aged 13 and over and Biz Eco Volt Junior karts for 8 to 12-year-olds. Staff can slow or stop the junior karts remotely.

The venue also has a mini golf course for ages 5 and up, and it hosts children's parties and corporate groups. The lower level is wheelchair accessible, but the upper level and bar are not.

Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

The karts

  • Biz EcoVolt GT (adult)
  • Biz Eco Volt Junior
One thing we're checking: Fully electric fleet. Adult karts are Biz EcoVolt GT with a boost button, quoted at up to 45 mph; juniors use the Biz Eco Volt Junior, which has remote shutdown and speed control.
