About TeamSport Go Karting Sheffield

TeamSport Sheffield is an indoor kart track on the Tinsley Industrial Estate in the east of the city, close to junction 34 of the M1. Its 950-metre circuit is spread over more than one level and has 15 corners, making it one of the longer tracks in the TeamSport group.

The venue runs a petrol fleet of Biz karts, with separate cadet karts for drivers aged 8 to 12 and full-size karts from 13. Up to 20 karts can share the track at once.

Sessions are pre-booked and include arrive-and-drive races, Grand Prix and 50-lap formats, alongside children's parties, stag and hen groups and corporate events. Parking is free and there is a ground-floor viewing area.

Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

The karts

  • Biz Evo3XP
  • Biz Evo Cadet
One thing we're checking: Adult karts run Honda GX200RH engines and junior karts Honda GX160RH engines, both belt-driven with adjustable flip-over pedals. Junior karts are limited to 25 mph.
