About Three Sisters Race Circuit

Three Sisters is a multi-use outdoor motorsport circuit on Three Sisters Road at Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan. Alongside karting it hosts car and motorcycle track days, drift events and driver training.

The site has several layouts: a 1.5 km main circuit used by owner-drivers and for exclusive hire, a 1 km Club Circuit for adult hire karts, and shorter Junior Circuit and Cadet Loop layouts for young drivers. Adults drive Sodi RT10 karts with Honda GX390 engines.

It suits a wide range of drivers, from 6-year-olds on Bambino lessons and juniors at the kart school to adults in hire sessions, group sprints and team endurance races. Owner-drivers can test, take ARKS tests and enter championship rounds.

Which circuit can they drive?

Different circuits here take different ages, so the headline minimum isn't the whole story.

Main circuit (Valley) — 1500m The full 1.5 km circuit, used for owner-driver testing and racing and available for exclusive hire. The operator does not publish a minimum age for owner-driver use; 16 reflects the adult hire minimum and needs confirming.
