About Thruxton Kart Centre

Thruxton Kart Centre sits beside Thruxton motor-racing circuit near Andover in Hampshire. It is an outdoor venue with two main tracks: the 900m National Circuit, which is seven metres wide and includes a flyover, and a shorter Club Circuit that can be run in several configurations.

The National Circuit is for drivers aged 16 and over in 390cc Sodi karts, while children from 8 drive 160cc cadet and junior karts on the Club Circuit. The centre runs arrive-and-drive sessions, Super Prix and Grand Prix races, endurance events, tuition and ARKS licence tests.

Businesses can hire the whole site with meeting rooms for half or full days.

National Circuit — 900m Sodi RT10 390 Adults aged 16 and over only, in 13bhp 390cc Sodi RT10 karts. The layout includes a flyover. An extended Full Circuit of 1,100m adds a loop and hairpin to the National layout.

Cadet and junior karts are 5.5bhp 160cc; cadet karts have adjustable seats and steering wheels and electronic rev limiters.
