About Wakefield Indoor Karting

Wakefield Indoor Karting is an indoor tarmac circuit at Millenia Park on Thornes Road, south-west of Wakefield city centre. The track includes an 80-metre straight and tight hairpins, and the layout is changed periodically.

Children from age 8 can drive in junior arrive-and-drive sessions or the fortnightly Junior Race School for 8 to 15-year-olds. Adults drive Sodi RT8 karts in open sessions, individual or team endurance races and grand prix events for over-16s.

Spectators can watch from a raised area above the circuit. Birthday, stag and corporate groups are catered for.
