Stag and hen do karting in London
6 tracks in London run stag and hen events. Karting works for these groups because everyone can do it and nobody needs to be good at it.
The 6 tracks
K1 Speed Canary Wharf
Canary Wharf, London
K1 Speed Canary Wharf is the UK site of an international chain with more than a hundred locations, and it is one hundred per cent electric. The karts are indoor and battery powered, which puts it in a small group alongside Revolution Karting on the other side of the city.
Revolution Karting
Mile End, London
Revolution Karting sits in the arches on Burdett Road at Mile End, and is London's most central outdoor kart track. Genuine tarmac, 450 metres, open all year in all but extreme weather, and running for over twenty years.

Surbiton Raceway
Worcester Park, London
Surbiton Raceway at Worcester Park runs three separate outdoor tracks, which is more than almost anywhere else we list, and it means the age bands are properly catered for rather than fudged with restricted karts.

Minimum group sizes
The thing that catches groups out. Below the minimum you either pay for absent drivers or book an open session instead.
What to look for
How many karts run at once
Ten on track at a time is common. A group of twenty means splitting into heats, which changes the shape of the day and usually the price.
A race format, not just a session
Qualifying, heats and a final gives you a winner and a podium. Open sessions blur into one another and nobody remembers who won.
Minimum group size
Most race formats need six or more. Below that you are booking arrive and drive whether you meant to or not.
What happens afterwards
A bar or restaurant on site keeps the group together. Without one the day ends in a car park.
Questions worth asking
- Can we all be on track together, or will you split us into heats?
- Is there a private room or bar area for afterwards?
- What is the deposit, and what happens if two people drop out?
- How late can we run?
